The mystery of Harris Burdick
One day a man named Harris Burdick had his kids write some stories, they wrote exactly 14. Harris Burdick then made illustrations and thought they were so good that he took them to a publisher and he loved the drawings and asked to see the stories the next day. When the day arrived Harris Burdick never came back and noeone knew where he went and the stories are still unknown but the pictures are still here and around the world young kids try to guess what the stories were by looking at the pictures, also every picture had a subtitle to it.
our class took these pictures and wrote our stories to them it was a very fun activity then she published the stories in a book to give to the whole class so the class could see everyone's stories here are some of the title pages, if you want to see all of the 14 paintings look up the 14 paintings of Harris Burdick and they will all pop up.
