First help your kids pack
you will need
- sack lunches (for each child)
- water bottles in cooler
- wagon or handcart
- water guns in case of wild animals
- cell phone or walkie talkie
- a couple of snacks
- a baby doll
- a picnic blanket
- a sheet
- fun pioneer clothing
now that you are dressed and your handcart is packed its time to start the trek.
- choose a park that's a couple blocks or less away
- gather some friends and walk up to the park taking turns pulling and pushing
- give another a chance to hold the baby doll and water guns
- walk around the park and find a good picnic spot.
- set up camp and eat your sack lunches
- remember to keep in touch with your kids.
- walk around little longer
- have a couple of snacks and walk back home
- enjoy! you have accomplished your first trek
